10 suffer minor injuries in TSRTC bus crash

Karimnagar: Ten passengers escaped with minor injuries when their TSRTC bus collided with another vehicle on the National Highway on the outskirts of Nusthalapur, Karimnagar, early in the morning on Sunday. RTC bus driver E. Narsaiah suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The RTC bus (TS 21 Z 0067) of Metpalli depot was heading towards Metpalli from Hyderabad when it hit a lorry (TS15 BD 0466) from behind.

Locals rushed to the spot and helped move the driver and the passengers to the government hospital in Karimnagar after which they informed the police. Police personnel arrived at the spot and after due inquiries, registered a case for the probe. Further investigation is underway.
