Thiruvananthapuram: Temperature to go up by 2-4 degrees

On Friday, 17 heat rash cases and 25 sunburn cases were reported in the state.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) has put the state on high alert with the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) predicting 2 to 4 degree rise above normal temperatures till Sunday.  KSDMA authorities have asked the public to avoid going out in the sun from 11 am to 3 pm.

As per the prediction by IMD Thiruvananthapur-am, Kollam, Alappuzha, Palakkad, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargode will face 2 to 4 degree rise above normal temperatures till Sunday. KSDMA has urged the public to not to step out in the sun directly from 11 am to 3 pm. On Friday, 17 heat rash cases and 25 sunburn cases were reported in the state.
