Hyderabad: Sub-registrar, vra held for taking bribe

The conduit T. Venkat , a document writer was caught red-handed at his private office located at Shanthi Nagar in Peddapally.

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau hatched a plan and arrested Sub-registrar of Peddapally Dileep Chandra Gopal for demanding bribe of Rs 30,000. The accused demanded bribe through his conduit Taduri Venkat from complainant Gondra Anudeep, a journalist in order to register, update the sale deed pertaining to a piece of land owned by the complainant’s father. The conduit T. Venkat , a document writer was caught red-handed at his private office located at Shanthi Nagar in Peddapally. The duo were arrested and produced before the special court for ACB cases.

In another incidence, a village revenue assistant of  Maldakal in Jogulamba Gadwal district was caught accepting bribe of Rs 15,000. The accused was arrested in a hotel while demanding bribe from complainant Y. Thimmanagari Ramudu in return of an official favour. The accused was arrested.
