Three-day Visakha Utsav from December 28
The Chief Minister will inaugurate the tech conference and will also inaugurate the heli-tourism project, Mr Srinivasa Rao said.
Visakhapatnam: If all goes as per plans, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the heli-tourism project in Vizag city on December 16. The district administration has decided to hold the Visakha Utsav from December 28 to 30 on a grand scale to attract tourists from other parts of the country. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) will organise an international conference titled ‘Transforming Education Conference for Humanity’ (TECH) in partnership with the AP government in Visakhapatnam from December 16 to 18.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate the tech conference and will also inaugurate the heli-tourism project, Mr Srinivasa Rao said. The tourism department is also chalking out plans to introduce tourist boats or ships with support from Visakhapatnam Port Trust in Vizag coast to attract the tourists besides introducing yachting, he added.
