HASSAN: The JD(S)-Congress coalition government headed by CM H.D. Kumaraswamy is ‘robust like a bull’ and safe from any threat to destabilize it, asserted JD(S) State President A.H. Vishwanath on Tuesday.  Speaking  to the media in Holenarsipura  after releasing a book, ‘Namoora Dyavappa’ on former PM and president of JDS H.D. Deve Gowda, Mr Vishwanath dismissed the threat to the coalition government, terming it a creation of the media.

He described reports that some Congress legislators were planning to join BJP as mere rumours. Reacting to reports that Minister Ramesh Jharkiholi is unhappy and is in touch with BJP leaders, Mr Vishwanath said he had no information on the threat to the government from Ramesh or Satish Jharkiholi or on the reported meeting between Ramesh Jharkiholi and BJP leader and MLA B Sreeramulu.
