Hyderabad: Keeping track of routes, bus movements, time of arrival and departure, inter-link facilities, delays and alternative arrangements, and information about various RTC services is now possible, thanks to ‘TSRTC Gamyam App’ that was launched the corporation’s vice-chairman and managing director V.C. Sajjanar at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), here on Saturday.

This app will be a tool for more than four lakh people who patronise RTC services every day. Speaking on the occasion, Sajjanar said, “The corporation is leaving no stone unturned to stay close to the people. This app is a step in that very direction.”

According to Deep Koduru, IT adviser for the corporation, “This is an absolutely commuter-friendly app. Working women can now track a bus and spend extra time with the family instead of rushing to the bus stop and waiting there. Long distance passengers can enter the service number and know where the bus is.”
She added, “Flag a bus and SOS are unique features and are beneficial to women.”
