Hyderabad: Nearly 8,000 students have signed a petition asking the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)  for leniency in correction of Class XII physics examination paper, which according to students has been the toughest paper of the year.

The petition has been uploaded on www.change.org.  Another complaint raised was that students who were undergoing entrance coaching could have done the paper better than students who relied on school notes.

However, a few educational experts stated that the paper was not as tough as the students claimed it to be. A CBSE coordinator also officially released a statement after a review saying that the paper was not ‘tricky’ and such a petition would not be considered.
