Polavaram water only in 2019

Vijayawada: Polavaram Project Authority (PPA) CEO Halder said the latest target is to complete the project by 2019 and mentioned about not being able to release water in 2018. 

The PPA met on Thursday to take stock of the project. After two months of discussions and work out, the PPA directed AP  water resources department to float tenders. But the tenders which are to open on Friday, i.e., on January 12 is postponed to January 18. The PPA would meet once again on January 16 and discuss the opening of the tenders.
