Each school will be planting 11 trees of native species appropriate to be nurtured in the area where the school is situated.

Asked about the CBSE proposal, maths teacher Anitha Suresh said, We have been asked to send our opinions. On the one side it is good.

Hyderabad: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be launching a campaign Mission Green Schools. As part of it ‘Prakrithi Mahosthav’ will be celebrated in all the CBSE-affiliated schools from August 13 to 17.

Each school will be planting 11 trees of native species appropriate to be nurtured in the area where the school is situated. Each tree may be given a unique name of a martyr for proper identification and personal touch.
