Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan vowed to fight with the state government until it purchased the last grain from the rain-hit farmers of the state.

He visited the rain-affected fields at Kadiyam Awa in Rajamahendravaram Rural Assembly segment in East Godavari district on Wednesday and interacted with farmers. They complained to the Jana Sena chief that no official had visited them.

But after coming to know about Pawan Kalyan’s visit, the farmers said officials started lifting the harvested paddy. However, they wondered when they will get their compensation and how much.
