Thiruvananthapuram: B Tech transfers only during 3rd, 5th semesters

The students will have to apply for the college transfer according to the transfer schedule announced by the university.

Thiruvananthapuram: The APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University has decided to allow transfer for B. Tech students only during the third and fifth semesters.

The students will have to apply for the college transfer according to the transfer schedule announced by the university.

The principals of all affiliated colleges have been directed to strictly adhere to the college transfer procedure specified in the B. Tech regulations and the amendments made from time to time. Any "student transfer" without following the regulations of the university will be treated as invalid and the college principal and the management are liable to be penalised. Following are the criteria for transfer of seats:

(I) Between Govt. and Govt. aided colleges.

(2) Govt. and Govt. aided colleges to self-financing colleges.

(3) Between self-financing colleges. (Including government controlled)

(4) The college has to publish an announcement form regarding dates for admissions, branch and inter-college transfer to S3 and S5 mostly during May.

(5) The criteria for the transfer will be the marks from S1 to S3 or S1 to S5 depending upon the number of applied students.
