Hyderabad: Intel to open tech centre, bring 1.5k jobs

The recent tie-up of IT major Intel with the UST Global and state government would see the setting up of a major IT manufacturing facility in the state and could also see the revival of sick units of Keltron.

Hyderabad: Intel is all set to open its tech center in Hyderabad which is expected to provide 1,500 jobs in the initial stages. A highlevel delegation headed by Ms Nivruti Rai, Country Head, Intel India, met caretaker minister K.T. Rama Rao at the camp office in Hyderabad on Friday.  Mr Rao, who spoke about the industrial policy of Telangana state and the infrastructure of Hyderabad, said, “We are very happy that Intel decided to start a tech centre in Hyderabad.”
