Hyderabad: Girish Dongre has been appointed cricket operations chief of the Bengal Tigers team at the T10 cricket tournament that will be played in Sharjah, UAE, from December 14 to 17.

He will double up as team manager during the tournament alongside head coach Waqar Younis. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed is the captain of Bengal Tigers which has players like Sunil Narine, Mustafizur Rahman, Darren Sammy, Darren Bravo and Rumman Raees.

Girish has done assignments for the BCCI for away teams such as West Indies, Sri Lanka, New  Zealand and Australia. He was also involved with the Masters Champions League T20 tourney in Dubai earlier.
