Tasmac workers salary hiked

Chennai: The salary of TASMAC workers had been hiked by the government with effect from September 1 this year and the incentive scheme for them would be discontinued from the same date.

The monthly consolidated payment of supervisors would go up from
Rs 7,500 to Rs 9,500, while that of the salesmen from Rs 5,600 to Rs 7,500. Besides, the salary of assistant salesmen would be hiked from Rs 4,200 to Rs 6,500, a government press release here said.
