VH raps CM KCR for taking back land given to poor people

Hyderabad: Despite attempts by the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to mislead the people on the Dharani portal, it is a fact that land, which was distributed by then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, were being given back to the landlords with the website serving as the facilitator, said senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao.

“This is particularly so with regard to lands close to the Outer Ring Road, whose market now is at Rs 5 crore per acre,” Hanumantha Rao said.

“I am going on a fact-finding mission to Keesara to ascertain facts about lands given to poor that have been snatched at the behest of the Chief Minister,” he said.
