Hyderabad: TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy congratulated CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for having completed 1,000 km of his padayatra on Saturday. He said that the party would reward anyone who works hard and cited the example of AICC secretary Bose Raju, who has been inducted into the Karnataka ministry.

The party also decided to invite former Congress president Sonia Gandhi for the foundation laying ceremony of the proposed Rajiv Knowledge Centre.

He was speaking at a meeting of TPCC vice-presidents and general secretaries in the presence of AICC state in-charge Manikrao Thakre and AICC secretary Rohit Chowdhary.

Those present were asked to submit a report every 15 days about their Assembly segments.

Party tickets for the ensuing Assembly elections would be given only on the basis of surveys and their work, Reddy said.

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is hoodwinking people by launching a new scheme targeting new sections of people every other day, said Thakre.

“We will strengthen the party from the booth-level and finalize the mandal committees by the end of the month,” said TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud.

They greeted Nadeem Javed on his elevation as AICC secretary.
