IIT-Hyderabad seeks applications for paid fellowship

The fellowship comes with a stipend of Rs 50,000 per month in the first year of training and is open to all applicants from all backgrounds.

IIT-H has already trained over 1,500 teachers of various disciplines of engineering in the past couple of years.

Hyderabad: The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) Center for Healthcare Entrepreneurship (CfHE) has called for applications for its two year fully-paid fellowship, of which the first year will be the training programme followed by incubation in the second year. 

The fellowship comes with a stipend of Rs 50,000 per month in the first year of training and is open to all applicants from all backgrounds. The CfHE fellows would be exposed to deep learning in Biodesign process. CfHE partners with adjunct faculty from Stanford University during the fellowship.

Professor Renu John, co-head, CfHE and head, department of biomedical engineering, IIT Hyderabad, said, “The fellowship program aims at training qualified candidates in applying technological approach for the nation’s pressing healthcare needs in a systematic and repeatable manner.” The last date for applying is April 15, 2018.
