Hyderabad: CPI national general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy said that it is unfortunate that the Bill for the reservation of upper castes was passed in the Parliament. “The reservations are not the remedy for the economically backward people. There are several other ways to overcome it,” he said.
Speaking to the mediapersons on Wednesday, he said that, “The decision taken by Central government is a political stunt. The Centre is trying to bluff the upper castes as the Bill is flawed. As the people are raising their doubts on the Rafale deal, the Prime Minister and team came up with the reservation strategy.”
