KOZHIKODE: Experts from the anti-Maoist forces in other states will soon join the interrogation of Alan Shuhaib and Thaha Fazal, the two students who were arrested recently for their alleged Maoist connections.

They will examine the evidence collected by the state police and may question the duo on their meeting with Maoist leaders from other states.

The police have already submitted a plea to the court for their custody for further interrogation. The police claimed that the two had met Maoist leaders from other states. Though only one phone was seized from the house of Alan, he had been using six phones, said the police.

The investigation has been extended to other states to locate the third person who was with the two students when they were held.
