TJAC told to seek permission for Koluvulakai Kotlata afresh

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday told the Telangana Joint Action Committee to make a fresh application to the LB Nagar DCP to granting permission to conduct the public meeting titled Koluvulakai Kotlata (Fight for Jobs) at the Saroornagar stadium.

Justice S.V. Bhatt was disposing petitions filed by TJAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram and another against the police refusal to permit the meeting in the city. The judge directed the DCP to pass reasonable and appropriate orders within three days after he received the application. The judge directed the petitioners to append details of the meeting, names of the speakers, organisers and vehicles and give an undertaking that they would not cause any law and order problem.
