Seizure of Wakf office failure of TRS: Congress

Hyderabad: Congress party activists staged a dharna at Haj House on Wednesday demanding protection of Wakf properties. Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee (GHCC) minorities department chairman Mr Shaik Abdullah Sohail, questioned Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to seal the Wakf Board office in a late night operation on Tuesday. He said that the sealing of the Board office was a confession that the TRS government has failed to prevent irregularities in the Board. 

By ordering sealing of Wakf Board and its records without informing the present Board members, the CM has sent a loud message, that all the present members were not trustworthy and have failed to perform their duties, he said.
