The CID sleuths arrested Chandrababu Naidu early this morning accusing him of involvement in the Rs 371 crore skill development scam.
However, Naidu claimed that he has no role in the scam and that the case was fabricated against him.
Following Naidu's arrest, all prominent leaders of the party were put under house arrest. Naidu's son and TD scion N. Lokesh was prevented from proceeding to Nandyal from West Godavari district where he is camping, as part of his Yuva Galam padayatra.
Former minister Ganta Srinivas Rao was also arrested within half-an-hour of Naidu's arrest.
