Smoke Erupts in Vande Bharat Express in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: Smoke engulfed a few coaches of Vande Bharat express bound to Secunderabad from Tirupati at Manubolu  in Nellore district on Wednesday.

According to the reports, a ticketless passenger, who was smoking in the toilet left the cigarette butt in a bin, which burnt the other plastic material.

The smoke spread to a few coaches, the staff who noticed it alerted the loco pilot. Train was halted at Manubolu and passengers were alighted. Later, the smoke was brought under control.

The passenger responsible for the smoke was taken into custody by police.
