Hyderabad to get Air India flight to Washington DC

GHIAL chief executive officer S.G.K. Kishore said passengers would be able to check-in their bags through to Hyderabad.

Air India is drawing up a proposal to offer voluntary buyouts to just over a third of its 40,000 employees.

Hyderabad: The city will be connected to Washington DC by Air India. GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. which operates the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport announced the connectivity with the US capital. The flight will have a stopover at Delhi. Air India Flight 104 will have three services per week. Washington will be the second city in the US to be connected with Hyderabad, after Chicago. 

GHIAL chief executive officer S.G.K. Kishore said passengers would be able to check-in their bags through to Hyderabad, and complete immigration and Customs for-malities  here. US was the largest market to and from Hyderabad with over 6.7 lakh annual passengers, flight services would be laun-ched to Sri Lanka from the city, he said.
