New Delhi: A day after BJP attacked Congress leader, Digvijay Singh over a video grab showing him sharing dais with the controversial Islmaic preacher, Zakir Naik, another video showing Sri Sri Ravishankar sharing stage with the preacher has gone viral.
The video shows Sri Sri attending am Islamic Research Foundation Programme with Zakir Naik. The video footage was posted on the social media by the Maharashtra PCC secretary, Shehzad Poonawalla.
While the home minister, Mr Rajnath Singh reiterated that “proper probe will be conducted in this matter” and “there will be no compromise on terrorism,” Mr Digvijay Singh hit back at the BJP and asked “what it would say about Sri Sri Ravi Shankar sharing the stage with Zakir.”
The preacher, who tried to clarify his position after the attack saying he was “against any form of terrorism,” could be in trouble as the Home minister indicated that “CDs of his speeches are being examined.”
