Telangana: Defeat parties with MIM agenda, says Prakash Javadekar

Referring to Swachh Bharat programme, Mr Javadekar said that all sections of people should participate and ensure surroundings are clean.

Hyderabad: Union minister for Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar on Saturday took an indirect dig at the ruling TRS government, saying that parties implementing MIM agenda should be defeated.

MIM has friendly ties with the TRS in TS.“BJP flag should flutter in TS post-2019 elections. Our goal is to come to power in the state. The coming days belong to the BJP. When other states are celebrating Hyderabad Liberation Day why did the TRS government not do so on September 17?” he asked.

Referring to the BJP’s victory in Uttar Pradesh and other states, Mr Javadekar said that the Opposition which has been drubbed at the hustings is now raking up EVM issue.

“There is no problem with EVMs. The problem lies in their thinking,” he said.Earlier, Mr Javadekar swept Yadagirigutta bus stand as part of the Swachh Bharat programme.

Referring to Swachh Bharat programme, Mr Javadekar said that all sections of people should participate and ensure surroundings are clean.He was accompanied by TS BJP president K. Laxman and they interacted with the people, including some cloth sellers and school kids.

“People should utilise the schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and benefit from them,” he said. At the Bhuvanagiri Lok Sabha constituency- level meeting, he said the BJP would extend all support to the state government’s developmental efforts.
