Vital clues in SIMI encounter

Bhopal: Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Diwali night jailbreak by eight slain Students Islamic Movement of India (Simi) activists has received “vital clues” that may lead to arrest of the “insider” in the incident.

Sources said the cell phones, trafficked to barracks housing the slain terror suspects, have been tracked and steps have already been initiated to seize them.

“The seizure of the cell phones will unravel the jailbreak conspiracy. We have identified the key facilitator of comforts ensured to the slain eight under-trials during their days in the Bhopal Central jail."
