Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president K. Laxman alleged that Hyderabad has become a haven for terrorists in the past few years and demanded that the government implemented the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the state capital.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Mr Laxman alleged that Hyderabad has become a haven for terrorists and the MIM was supporting them. He said the police was acting as a spectator because the ruling party is becoming friendly to the MIM.

The BJP state president also alleged that the MIM was supporting Rohingyas and illegal immigrants. He said the government must identify the illegal immigrants across the state. He said that though the officials have information about the illegal immigrants, due to the state government's lackadaisical attitude, they were not taking action.  Mr Laxman said the BJP would conduct a public meeting at Gadwal before the launch of the second phase of bus yatra in September.  He also said that the BJP-led Central government has approved the OBC Commission.
