Bhopal: CRPF, police officers engage in verbal duel during raids

Bhopal: The CRPF team accompanying the tax sleuths who launched raids in the houses and business establishments of people linked to Kamal Nath resisted attempts by state police to storm into the complex to “rescue” people who were prevented by the raiding party from coming out. Heated exchanges between police and CRPF officers ensued as the paramilitary barred the state police from entering the complex asking them to wait till the raids were over.

The verbal duels later turned ugly with some officers of state police and CRPF seen engaged in heckling one another. The police officers who reached the spot in the evening were seen surrounding the complex and there was no sign of a thaw between the warring officers till last reports poured in.
