India's super spy had Imran Khan's office, home pictures

Hyderabad: It was not only the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror factory in Balakot whose pictures were picked up by the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO).

Days before the Indian Air Force (IAF) executed the deadly air strikes on the terror camp on Pakistani soil, NTRO —India’s super advanced technical intelligence agency — “travelled” as far as Islamabad and is learnt to have provided satellite pictures and other data of many Pakistani establishments in Islamabad, including Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s office and residence.

Highly placed sources in the Defence establishment, privy to minute details of the Balakot strike, disclosed to Deccan Chronicle that soon after the Centre gave the go-ahead for the IAF strikes, NTRO satellites and radars, which initially gathered and collated data, particularly mobile phone signals and pictures of several terror factories along the Line of Control (LoC), then widened their coverage after they came across credible information that a majority of terrorists had been hurriedly moved out of there to safer places deep inside Pakistan amid clear indications from India that it would strike back in the wake of the Pulwama attack.

NTRO zoomed in to Bahawalpur, home town of JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar besides about 25 terror factories in different parts of Pakistan including Abbotabad.
