Tomato Price Crashes to Rs 4 Per Kg
Tomato prices which soared to Rs 200 a kg two months ago came crashing to Rs 4 a kg. With a glut in the market, the prices dropped suddenly.
Farmers in Kurnool resorted to distress dumping of the crop as they could not pay even for the labour and transportation of the vegetable.
