Hyderabad: There’s confusion over shifting of AP employees from Hyderabad to the temporary secretariat in Velagapudi in Amaravati as union leaders are making differing statements.

Though the leaders are saying they are ready to shift to Amaravati, they are talking different deadlines and are insisting on a roadmap. Statements of APNGO, Gazetted Officers Association and Secretariat Employees’ Association leaders are leading to further confusion.

Secretariat employees’ union leader Murali Krishna said that while the staff was ready to move to Amaravati, the state government should come out with a roadmap, a demand reiterated by AP Gazetted Officers Association leader K.V. Krishnaiah. “It is not wrong to ask for a roadmap. If the government asks we will go by June 15,” he said.
