Hyderabad: Representatives of political parties suggested to GHMC commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy at an all-party meeting that notice has to be mandatorily given to voters before deleting their names. They said the process of revision of electoral rolls must be widely publicised.

GHMC commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy, who is also district election officer, said new voters can enroll on the voter list online by using Form. 6. He appealed to voters to update their status on electoral rolls.

The exercise is currently underway to remove names of voters who have moved away and dead voters, inclusion of names of new voters among others.
