Oommen Chandy calls on Sushma Swaraj

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has urged the external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to initiate steps for rescuing the Malayali priest Tom Kuzhinal reportedly abducted by terrorists in Yemen.

Sources at the CM 's office said that the union minister  has assured him to carry out needed measures. The CM also talked to the mother superior of the care home, Sali, a Kottayam native.
