Telangana: First year exams put off due to boycott

Exams were scheduled to begin in OU from Wednesday.

HYDERABAD: First year exams in various universities have been postponed following private college managements’ decision to boycott them. Kakatiya, Osmania and Mahatma Gandhi Universities announced the postponement on Monday.

Exams were scheduled to begin in OU from Wednesday. Announcing the decision to put-off the exams, the varsity officials said they will be rescheduled from December 14.

In a press statement, Kakatiya varsity officials just announced postponement of exams, set to begin from Tuesday. The fresh date of exams will be announced later, they said.
