Fire breaks out in Kolkata's Tangra area, 3 dead

Kolkata: A major fire broke out at the Tangra area of Kolkata on Thursday afternoon, killing 3 people.

According to reports, the incident took place at a welding shop.

Tangra is close to China town, a place known for housing some of the best Chinese restaurants in the city.

Several fire engines have been pressed into service.
