Hyderabad: Two held for abusive posts on Disha

Hyderabad: Two persons who misbehaved with a woman artist at a pub in Madhapur were arrested by the police on Wednesday. Another accused is still at large, a team is working on the clues to nab him.

At Cyberabad, the cyber crime police had received a complaint from a woman stating that one Anil Kumar Amabala, 28, a resident of Gundrampally village in Chityal mandal of Nalgonda district, who had posted abusive comment on a TRS party woman leader on Facebook in connection with the death of Disha.  

Subsequently, a team swung into the action and nabbed Anil Kumar and produced him before a court for the judicial remand.

Meanwhile, the Hyderabad cyber crime police have also arrested one Simley Nani, 21, an engineering final year student from Guntur of Andhra Pradesh, for posting derogatory messages on the rape victim Disha, on social media platforms. Nani was arrested from Guntur and was produced before a court on Wednesday.
