4 IPS officers transferred across AP

Vijayawada: Four IPS officers were transferred in the state on Thursday. The government issued GO Rt No: 2141, transferring the four high-ranking police officials — D. Nagendra Ku-mar, G. Srinivas, Kanthi Rana Tata and J. Prabhakar Rao.

Mr Nagendra Kumar, IPS (SPS:2003), joint commissioner of Visakhapatnam City, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Kurnool Range. Mr Srin-ivas, IPS (SPS:2003), has been posted as DIG, Law & Order and Co-Ordination Office of DGP. Mr Kanthi Rana Tata, IPS (RR:2004), joint commissioner of police in Vijayawada City has been transferred and posted as DIG, Anantapur Range. Mr Prabhakar Rao, IPS (SPS: 2002) working as DIG Ananta-pur has been posted as DIG, CID, in the existing vacancy.

Chief Secretary to the AP government, Mr Anil Chandra Punetha issued the GO of transfer orders.
