Hyderabad: Mentoring programme launched

The PhD students will mentor them on analytically dissecting a research paper in the programme.

Hyderabad: The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) has launched an undergraduate mentoring programme with students and teachers from local colleges. The PhD students will mentor them on analytically dissecting a research paper in the programme.

CCMB is currently doing a pilot project with three local government colleges under the undergraduate programme 'Abhilasha'  and figuring out the best practices for such an exercise. The final outcome will be the mentees doing a power point presentation in any form of expression of their understanding of a classic research paper. 

During the final outcome in January 2019,  the teams will present a research article in different ways. The team will present multiple forms of expressions, drama, stories, interesting posters, paintings or comic.
