Bihar minister assures support to investors from Telangana State

The minister said that a majority of workers who have done a ghar wapsi were from the textile sector

Hyderabad: Bihar industry minister Shahnawaz Hussain has assured investors that the state would grant approvals within seven days if the project seems feasible.

At an interactive session on business and investment opportunities in Bihar, under the auspices of FTCCI here on Thursday, Hussain highlighted the locational advantages for industries, like textiles, in Bihar, which is poised for a robust industrialisation climate.

The minister said that a majority of workers who have done a ghar wapsi were from the textile sector. They are seeking a more decentralized industrial set up, which can enable them to ‘work from home’, he said while adding that Bihar boasts of a stable and good governance.

K Bhasker Reddy, FTCCI president, Anil Agarwal, senior vice-president and Khyati Naravane CEO of FTCCI and others participated in the programme.
