Hyderabad: A 21-year-old youth who was working as a helper at a hotel was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Kukatpally on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Kammari Raju.

Police said Raju, was working as a helper at the Sainath Tea Point in Kukatpally. On Thursday night he went to owner Ravinder Goud to hand over the day’s collection. After counting the money, the owner scolded Raju for giving less than the actual collected amount. This resulted in an argument. Raju then called his brother Sai to his room. Raju told him about how he was not able to save money despite working hard. He also said that his owner was not believing his word about collections.

Raju suddenly ran out of his room to the terrace. On Friday people found his body behind the building. Police filed a case in a pool of blood.

Later, police identified the body as that of Ramu. Based on a complaint from his father Sangappa, a suspicious death was registered. "We are checking facts and based on autopsy report we will act,” SI Narayan Singh said.
