Tirupati: TTD invites applications for fine arts courses at SVCMD
Diploma and certificate in regular courses is available at the S.V. Nadaswaram school that also offers evening classes.
Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) began online admissions for various courses at Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance in Tirupati for the academic year 2019-20 from May16 till July 31.
Faculties of gathra, veena, venu, violin, nadaswaram, dolu, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, hari katha, mrudangam and ghatam offer B.Music, B.Dance, Visharada and Praveena courses.
Diploma and certificate in regular courses is available at the S.V. Nadaswaram school that also offers evening classes. Interested students can obtain an application worth `50 and apply. Eligible candidates should pass class VIII for regular courses and should pass V pass for evening courses.
Meanwhile, reviewing TTD Vidya Dana trust activities, TTD executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal said that training will be imparted to students of TTD educational institutions on skill development with the help of experts from Art of Living institution. The students would be trained in spoken English, writing skills etc.
He said libraries should house books that would enhance the spiritual knowledge among the students.
