Major relief to Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay, HC orders release

Hyderabad: Justice Ujjal Bhuyan of Telangana High Court on Wednesday 'stayed' the remand report dated 3-1-2022 pertaining to the arrest of Bandi Sanjay MP from Karimnagar and his followers.

While staying the remand report dated 3-1-2022, the judge directed for release of the MP forthwith on furnishing a personal bond.

The Judge, in his order observed "Prima Facie, we do not find that the  Magistrate has not applied his judicial mind while remanding the petitioner to Judicial custody till 17th Jan 2022".
