Hyderabad: TD leader held for obstructing public servants

During Bonalu, he obstructed officials from carrying out their duties, say the police.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri TD in-charge was arrested by the Malkajgiri police on Saturday morning at his residence for obstructing public servants from carrying out their duties during the Bonalu festival a few months ago.

The TD in-charge has been identified as M. Radha Krishna Yadav, 60, who was the second accused arrested  after the prime accused Chinna Yadav.

Malkajgiri sub-inspector K. Sanjeev Reddy said, “During Bonalu, he obstructed public servants from carrying out their duties. We booked a case under Section, 353 IPC, assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of duty, 188 IPC, disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant and 34 IPC, acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention.” 

Yadav  was sent to judicial custody, the official added.
