Kottayam: The march undertaken by the Idukki District Congress Committee  to the Nedumkandom police station on Wednesday demanding a judicial inquiry into the custody death of Rajkumar  turned violent. The DCC wanted a probe by keeping aside the Idukki district police chief from his position.

The police blocked the protesters in front of the police station. Three Congress activists  were injured when they tried to break the police barricade. Protesting against this, the Congress workers led by DCC president Ibrahim Kutty Kallar marched through  Nedumkandom town.
