AP CM Naidu lays foundation for mega Science Museum

It will be a seven dome colossal complex, resembling the sacred seven hills of Lord Venkateswara, Naidu said.

Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for a National Science Museum, which will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 1,300 crore, near Tirupati.

The Brahmanda Science Museum, housing a planetarium and other science related structures, will be constructed as per international standards in about 100 acres of land at the foothills of Tirumala, Naidu told reporters.

It will be a seven dome colossal complex, resembling the sacred seven hills of Lord Venkateswara, he said.

Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Y S Chowdary was present on the occasion.
