Green drive to cover Outer Ring Road stretch

Hyderabad: HMDA, which planted trees at a few places on Outer Ring Road in the last few weeks, will extend the drive to the entire 158-km stretch by August-end.

As per directions of the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, this drive will be taken up on service roads, central median and interchanges on Outer Ring Road. Accordingly, Outer Ring Road has been divided into 20 segments and a senior official will be supervising the drive.

Officials were told to inspect the allotted stretches on a regular basis and assess the progress.
