Telangana to train mines officers in software

Khammam: The government is conducting training classes for mining department staff on operating its new software.

The new software for mine permits will be provided by IT major Tata Consultancy Services.

Through the software, people can apply for various mining permissions and leases, and can pay the lease amount as well.

Applications to assistant director, regional director, or the director of mines may also be made online, an official said.
