Andhra University will get better NAAC grade: Vice Chancellor

GSN Raju inaugurated the Centre for Alluri Seetharama Raju History and Tribal Studies and the Centre for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Studies

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Prof. G.S.N. Raju claimed that the university would likely bag better grading in the recently concluded National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) evaluation and become one of the premier universities in the world.

Speaking at a felicitation organised by the teachers, research scholars, students and staff at Dr. Y.V.S. Murthy Auditorium here on Sunday, Prof. Raju said that teachers and other university community should work for the improvement of academic and research standards.

On this occasion, Prof. Raju thanked them for the felicitation and said that he could take the university towards progress because of the support and cooperation of the teachers and staff.

Rector Prof. E.A. Narayana, Registrar Prof. V. Umamaheswara Rao, Principal of College of Engineering Prof. Ch.V. Ramachandra Murthy, Head of the Department of ECE Prof. P. Rajeshkumar and others felicitated Prof. GSN Raju and his wife Ms Kanakadurga.

Earlier, Prof. GSN Raju inaugurated the Centre for Alluri Seetharama Raju History and Tribal Studies at the Department of Anthropology.

Prof. G.S.N. Raju  also inaugurated the Centre for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Studies. He congratulated Prof. G. Jayakishan and Prof. Y. Satyanarayana, Directors of the Centres on the occasion.
