Chhattisgarh Youth Loses Life After Alleged Stabbing by Girlfriend

A romantic fallout has cost a Chhattisgarh youth of his life, as the young woman he was in relationship allegedly stabbed him during a heated argument. According to police, Kamta Prasad Suryavanshi, 25, a worker at a local hotel, had met Roshni Suryavanshi, 22, on Instagram six months ago and started a relationship. However, tensions escalated between the two when Kamta stopped blocking her number and messages a couple of days ago, leading to a confrontation and then murder.

Roshni allegedly stabbed Kamta suspecting him of seeing another woman, authorities say. Kamta was found bleeding from his chest when his roommates came to check on him hearing a commotion, and he passed away enroute to hospital.

The accused has been arrested and a murder case has been filed.
